Newborn Head (Simple) for X-Ray CT, US, MRI
The Newborn Head (Simple) phantom is designed based on an average newborn head and is made out of realistic tissue-mimicking materials suitable for X-Ray CT, US, MRI
The phantom is designed based on an average newborn head and is made out of realistic tissue-mimicking materials suitable for Ultrasound imaging. The brain in this model has been specifically simplified to achieve the most cost-efficient training solution.
The phantom was developed in collaboration with a group of physician experts from the Sonographic Clinical Assessment of the Newborn (SCAN) Training Program program at the University of Calgary (Department of Pediatrics).
Note: By default, the phantom comes in a translucent amber appearance. The skin feature can be included upon request.
