Adult Ear for X-Ray CT, US, MRI
The Adult Ear Phantom is designed around the complex anatomy of a human ear and is valuable for researching and developing noise reduction equipment. It can be customized for projects involving Ultrasound, X-Ray/CT, and MRI imaging. The phantom is an ideal tool for testing and calibrating hearing aid equipment and can be used as a stand-alone product or incorporated into the complete skull or head phantoms.
The Adult Ear Phantom is a product with the complex anatomy of a human ear, and it can be used for research and development of noise reduction equipment. The phantom can be customized to match various projects involving Ultrasound, X-Ray/CT, and MRI imaging methods. The ear phantom could be your ideal tool to test and do calibration-related work on any hearing aid equipment.
In terms of MRI applications, the phantom tissues have realistic T2 relaxation time values, which makes this product to be the best fit for any T2-weighted MRI imaging methods. Excellent results can also be achieved with proton-density imaging methods. The phantom can still be imaged with T1-weighted methods, but the T1 values are less realistic and within the range of about 100 ms.
It can be fabricated as a stand-alone product or implemented into the complete skull and/or head phantom.
